Bambroughe of Howsam, Yorks., Bt. Sir Hen. Jenkins of York. (Rec. i's father by will gave rents & profits of 7 closes (South Ings) in par. of Cundall (nr. Thornton Bridge) to excrs. eldest s. Thos. Robinson Esq., of Allathorpe, & his 2nd. s. for 8 yrs. to pay debts & legacies. After this above land and Manors of, and lands in Newby-on-Swale, Swainby, Awdfield, and lands in Rainton and Norton, capital mess. in York and gdns. in Hungate and St. Andrewgate, to s. Thos. Robinson & hrs. etc. By same will i's father gave him manors of, and lands in Rawcliffe, Clifton, Surley cotes, and houses in Coppergate, Castlegate, Walmergate, & St. Saviour- gate, and St. Margaretts close in York and suburbs. To (i) for life then to his s. Wm. & hrs. male (provisions in default of issue.) (i) covenants to stand seised of lands left in will & 7 yrs. after marr. to convey lands to (ii), except portion limited to s. & Amye for maintenance for life. Slit for tag, and tag for seal.
