Letter from Charlotte Orlebar to one of Miss Orlebar's (1758-1819) 'Thursday was an unhappy day at Hinwick being the day of poor Richard's departure for Aspley School, he himself behaved with astonishing resolution, taking his leave of us all without shedding a tear. Mr O informs us that with equal resolution he desired to go to the School in the evening, that it might be the sooner over he said: his paper asked him the next day if he liked the place: he answered with great vehemence no; I sincerely hope the poor little fellow will soon be better reconciled to it.
