Thos. Goodall, wm. Ingram, Egram Painter, Thos. Flint,
Chas. Simpkins, Twydell Dear at rents of 48.8s.;
purchased by Thos. Kynaston, clerk, from Dan. Austin, sr.,
and w. Frances & Dan. Austin jr.; and 23, 24 May 1759 conveyed
by Thos. Kynaston to Thos. and Sarah Whitehurst, and the
subject of an Act 9 Geo. III for vesting part of the settled
estates of the Rev. Thos. & Sarah Whitehurst in Herts. & Beds.
in Thos. Whitehurst in fee simple; and also the subject
of indentures of 11 December 1756 and 24 May 1759;
-- 18 ac. occ. Jos. Ansell, then Edw. Phipp, now Thos. Parker,
in Over Stondon field in Over Stondon, abtg. on Long Mead
and Ditchworth Mead; and next Tining Field;
purchased by Thos. Whitehurst from Thos. Skegg
of Woburn draper, s. & h. of Thos. Skegg of Hitchin,
chapman, bro. & h. of Sar. Hawkins (see nos. 71-87),
11, 12 December 1765;
now occ. Ric. Negus and Wm. Dunnam;
on trust under the will of the Duke of Kent, and subject
to an Act for the more effectually carrying into execution
certain articles of agreement made before and in consideration
of the marriage of the Hon. Phil. Yorke esq. with the most Hon.
Jemima Marchioness Grey.
A fine is to be levied on above property; and Thos. Whitehurst
also promises to convey:
-- 2 ac. copyhold of the manor of Shillington Rectory, (13/25-8, 41);
late Ewesdin's and Whitbread's, and 1 ac. late Ewesdin's
and Grigg's, since Whitbread's in the common fields of Shillington.
-- 1 ac. copyhold of the manor of Aspley al. Apsley Bury in
East Field, Shillington; (see 13/34-5, 41, 25-28);
