    Abstract of the title of Mr W T Chapman to land at Sandy Road, Potton, reciting Conveyance of 8 July 1864 i) The Rev Harry Edgell, Nacton, Suffolk, clerk Edward Dover Edgell, Seacombe, Cheshire, Esq ii) William Thomas Chapman, Biggleswade, gentleman iii) Edmund Stanton, Biggleswade, law clerk) George Smith, Potton, gentleman Reciting will of John Franklin, late of Gonaldston, Notts, dated 5 March 1850 by which he devised all his freehold estates in Bedfordshire to trustees for term of 500 years John Franklin died on 30 April 1858. Will proved (PPR) on 15 October 1858 reciting various appointments of new trustees In 1861 a suit was instituted in the High Court for administering the estate of John Franklin John Liell Franklin, eldest son of said John, and entitled to actual possession of said property was a minor under 21 By Order of Court of Chancery dated 24 July 1863 was agreed to sell property to ii) now in consideration of 480 i) rovoked trusts concerning said land also i) conveyed to ii) - 5a 3r 15p land in Potton, being part of a piece called the Twelve Acre once in occupation of Jesse Masters and then late of William Smith N Old Bedford road S Potton to Sandy Road E remainder of said 12 acre piece (bought by Francis Bingham (who was to put up a division fence) W Philip Chapman to use of ii) for life or to iii) for use of ii) deeds in schedule relate also to other property of greater value so is agreed that deeds in first schedule should remain in custody of i) and those in second schedule should be delivered to iv). i) covenant with ii) for production of said deeds etc First Schedule Deed Poll of 29 June 1858 Deed of 23 November 1859 Deed of 9 May 1863 Second Schedule Deed of 5 May 1842
