Manor of Holme with Langford On 10 August 1820 Edward West of Langford, common carrier, in consideration of 137 10s paid by William Cooper, Sutton, yeoman, surrendered to the Lord - 1a pasture or sweard ground adjoining a cottage formerly of Robert Robinson, held freely of said Manor, which said land was formerly in occupation of Richard Ravens, younger, then Joseph Hewlett, and now of Edward West W late Edward West, then John Bewley 'who has lately sold the same to Henry Pain' and to which the same has lately been attached by the taking up of the fence separating them Edward West was admitted to the property at Court on 4 June 1819 on surrender of William Joseph Lockwood, Esq Willliam Cooper is now admitted tenant to said property yearly rent - 8d fine - 2 10s
