    Manor of Langford reciting death of Elizabeth Brooks. By her will dated 19 August 1842 she devised all her real estate to brother Daniel Brooks, for ever.He was never admitted to the said moiety. He died on 25 October 1857. By his will dated 25 July 1855 he appointed James Newbery of Biggleswade, gentleman, and and George James Newbery, 26, Royal Exchange, London, stockbroker, as his executors and devised his freehold and copyhold estates to them in trust for sale Now Robert Brooks, brother of said Daniel and Elizabeth requests to be admitted to the moiety of Elizabeth,subject to will of Daniel Brooks He is now admitted to said moiety of said premises in occupation of Thomas Kemp, William Potton and James Clark rent - moiety of 1s 4d (i.e. 8d)
