Manor of Holme with Langford On 7 November 1861 Clarissa Chapman and Anna Maria Chapman, both of Brooke House, Potton, spinsters, in consideration of 27 paid by William King, surrendered - site of 2 cottages with yards or remaining portion of ground with 2 small barns and privy on east side thereof at Langford lately occupied by William Brown and John Cooper In front near the street 33ft 6in on West At back on east sides thereof next the garden of Clarissa and A M Chapman 30ft In depth from west to east next the Chapmans' yard in occupation of Mr George Oliver on North 68ft To which said premises (with others) said C and A M Chapman were admitted tenants on 18 August 1864 under will of William Chapman, gentleman to use of William King who was admitted tenant to said premises on 25 March 1867 rent - 6d for plot of ground (40p) - 2s 4d for site of cottages and barns
