    Manor of Biggleswade On 20 March last William Fowler surrendered - Cottage in Stratton Street, Biggleswade - Garden and close pasture adjoining, late in occupation of Mary Miles, then John Trott, afterwards of John Scarborough and then of John Croft and which were lately used as the Fountain Inn - Piece land near Stratton Street in Biggleswade on which piece of land had lately been erected several coach houses and other edifices - Common of pasture for one horse, 2 cows and a breeder in Biggleswade common to which piece of land William Fowler was admitted tenant at Court held on 27 October 1790 on the surrender of Thomas Farrington to the absolute use of John Croft, Biggleswade, schoolmaster, who is now admitted tenant yearly rents - 1s, 7d, 1d, and 6d fines - 4d, 2d, 1/3rd of 1d, 1/2d and 2d
