(pieces of pasture that lie intermixed with arable); 2 closes of meadow called Ditched Meads, 4 ac.; Grove closes, 10ac.; Ash close, 5 ac. Middle mead, 6 ac.; Further Mead, 7 ac.; all known as Ditched Meads; Luke's meadow, 5 ac.; 2 spinneys,5 ac.; Rye close, 10 ac.; a close called Great Lady season, 11 ac.; Little Lady season, 6 ac.; and land in the common fields: in Lawn Field 62 ac.; in White Wall Field, 36 ac,; in Tine Field, 16 ac.; in Little Field, 55 ac,; in New close, 8 ac.; in Dun meadow, 5 ac.; 5 ac. dispersed in the fields of Lower Stondon, and 3 ac. in Upper Stondon; all in or near Upper and Lower Stondon and Meppershall. Timber excepted. Tenant to preserve young spires of oak, ash and elm from biting hurt, and to pay 5 for every acre of meadow ploughed; to do repairs (except casualties by storm and fire) (and except great rough timber, bricks, tiles and lime); landlord willl inspect and give notice in writing of necessary repairs, which shall be done in 3 months.
