Meppershall (60 ac.) lately purchased of Thos. Lawrence.
Clause against sub-letting allows Joel Walker, yeom.
Wood and woodland excepted.
Tenant shall maintain hedges and ditches, fetch timber
for repairs from within 5 miles, preserve the timber on
the land from biting hurt or spoil of cattle, bear taxes;
penalty for ploughing 5 per ac. He shall have a
competent allowance for gate bote and stile bote.
