Probate of Henry Grey, 10th Earl of Kent, Lord Hastings, ?aysford & Ruthin:
to be buried where w. Amabel (extrix) shall arrange;
to w. Amabel any benefit which testator ought to have out of
the manors of Wingham Barton, Kent, and the lands & marshes
of Wingham Barton & Ash; the manors of Chadwell & Chadwell Hall,
and all lands in Essex, to be disposed of by her for debts etc.,,
and for money to be paid for the Wingham Barton lands; residue to
her use for life, and for good of either or both children; this
shall be no bar to her dower or thirds; the children are to be
brought up in the Protestant religion, and their portions as
wife thinks fit;
to nephew Hen. Farmer 40 p.a. (hopes son will continue this
when he is 21);
witn. Hen. Farmer, Bart. Geale, Nat. Lee.
