    Letter: from Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick to Richard Dillingham - writer wonders how her husband is getting on and doesn't wonder at him getting sick with the whole business; - notes it was nice of Alice to send him a parcel; - comments that Mr Petley called in on her and wanted to know how he was getting on; - notes the boys had received their postcard and were very pleased with them, "I never heard a boy come out with such sayings as the baby does"; - comments that Father bought them a clay pipe each to blow bubbles with and that Ben broke his; - notes his Father comes round nearly every day and makes a great fuss of the boys and generally brings them an apple or some little thing; - "I think they will go nearly mad when you come home, there isn't a day passes but what they want to know when you are coming home"; - thought last year at this time it would have all been all over by now; - comments they are having a job to get oil and have to pay 2/- per gallon; - "I don't burn as much as some people as I go to bed early, there is nothing to sit up for and nobody to talk to"; - comments she is longing for the time when he will be at home, so she can talk to him at night, like they used to"; - asks if he has heard anymore about getting leave;
