(ii) Anne Hale of Silsoe, Flitton;
Wm. Wheeler, s-in-law of Anne;
parsonage of Flitton & Silsoe; tithes of grain,
pease, pulse, hay etc., with tithe barn, yard,
orchard, & close adj.; in Flitton, Silsoe &
Clophill; and all glebe lands belonging;
all of which (i) holds of Christ Church, Oxford,
for 'a longer term of years than is herein mentioned';
except part of house above occ. Fra. Raworth &
Edm. Dillon, and all ways necessary to them
excepted from this lease; also except timber
(other than tithe timber); and tithes from
Wrest House ' closes, enclosed grounds and
lands of the Earl in or near Silsoe' called
by the names of Wrest or Cainhoe (High field
and Broadlands excepted);
tenant to pay the Earl's rent to Christ Church from
140 above, and also is allowed 10s. expenses;
also to provide 'dyet' for family and servants
of the Earl at Wrest when the Earl is absent
(to be reimbursed by rebate on rent); may bring
hay and corn through the Middle ground (as in former lease):
