Title
Faculty for the restoration of the Church according to plans and specification of G Somers Clarke, architect, at an estimated cost of 6,200, and to appropriate a pew to the use of Mrs Mary Brown in lieu of her faculty pew.
The restoration work includes, renewal of lead roof and replacement with boarding felts and milled lead; new nave roof; repair of roof of North aisle; rebuilding and enlargement of South aisle; rebuilding Chancel East wall to increase light in the Church; taking down the gallery and building a new gallery in the North aisle; rebuilding west gallery over the present sreen; to remove and resite pews; to erect new pulpit and reading deesk; to move various monuments [names given]
