(i) Th. Beverley of Cainhoe, Clophill, esq.,
(ii) Rbt. Smale of Campton, warrener
'the warren and game of conies' called Clophill
warren
(ii) also to pay '100 couples of good conies' on
demand of (i) or his servants yearly.
at end of term (ii) to give up warren with at
least 500 conies of which 300 to be black in it,
to be viewed by (i) and 'other indifferent men'.
(i) involved in suit with Stephen Daniel in court
of Exchequer and (ii) cov. not to regard above
warren as part of land in dispute should case go
to Daniel.
(ii) can 'hunt pitch fetch drive away the conies
in the close next the lodge in the warren called
Fenshams house', from the cross hedge by the pear
tree which divides close above from Upper close
(where the barn and hill called Castle Hill now
stands), and all along in the highway, and not be-
yond, between Calves close and the cross hedge,
rent 13-4d.
(ii) covenants not to ''hunt with haye, pursuett
dogg or ferrett'' or by any other manner or means of
gin traps any conies in Upper Lodge close in which
Castle Hill stands, in Calves pightle, High field,
Wilcoks close (past.) in Cainhoe Gt. Pasture, in
Thick wood, or stop up any burrows in them.
