Agreement of conveyance from 1) Isaac Elger of Bedford, agent for his brother John Elger, gent to 2) Edward Haynes, bricklayer of Bedford for 38 11s 2p in fee simple of a) ground on the east side of Gwyn Street, width north to south 15', depth west to east on the north and south sides a mean dimension of 88'2" now stumped out and described in the attached plan. EH to erect a brick wall on the north side of the property to the height of at least 5', and to buy all building materials used on the plot from the executors of Thomas Gwyn Elger Memorandum that in 1853 EH purchased from JE for 9:3s:9d an additional piece of frontage on Gwyn Street measuring north to south 3'6" wide and west to north [sic] 90' deep
