    Map IV PAVENHAM,1769. 'A Survey of Swannels & Baseley's Farms as the same were inclosed in the year 1769, with the Piece of Pasture Ground in occupation of Mr. Bond, all which are lying and being in the Parish of Pavenham, and County of Bedford, being Part of the Estate of the Right Honble The Earl of Hardwicke, and the Most Honble The Marchioness Grey (purchased of the Reynold's of Warwickshire in 1763)'. Taken from the Commission Surveyors Map, by Charles Cole. Ink and watercolour (red and yellow) on paper, backed with paper. Folded. Bound in atlas of Wrest Park Estate. Scale not given (probably 30'' : 1 mile) 29'' x 34 1/2''. Scrollwork cartouche. Compass indicator. Shows enclosed land near the centre of the village and in the North East of the parish near the river Ouse. Gives field names, acreages, and acres of land in the occupation of Thomas Swannell (151a. 1r. 17p. in Pavenham and Carloton), Simon Baseley (90a. 1r. 5p. in Pavenham), and Mr. Bond (0a. 1r. 20p).
