Letter from John Dingwall of 3 New Bank Buildings to Mr Field esq of Salters Hall [London?]. Mr Field's uncle Charles Nicholls Field is dissatisfied about being able to examine only the apportionment, not the marriage settlement itself. Dingwall is surprised Mr Field's father did not bring both but is satisfied the power of appointment was properly exercised. Feels it's his duty to satisfy his client CNF, especially considering his "indifferent circumstances". Urges Mr Field to persuade his father to give this his early attention. Dated 20th May 1837
