    - to father in law Francis Tristram for life, messuage in Hitchin and lands at Kings Walden, provided he surrenders his copyhold as specified below - to Revd Mark Hildersley 10 10s for management of the trusts - to Thomas Way 1 guinea - to William Conquest 5 guineas - to Mrs Hildersley 1 guinea to buy herself a ring - to Hale Ivory 5 guineas - to Thomas Love, pattoon maker, 10s - to William Outeridge of Ickleford 8s - to the representative of Mr Pope junr, the debt CNF believes he owed him at his death: his executor lives near St Andrews Church, Holborn - to Mrs Boycott, widow of Mr Boycott late of Doctors Commons, 1 guinea - to Mark Hildersley and his heirs, copyhold lands, wood or grove in the manors of Maydencroft and Barton in the Clay (now surrendered to the use of his will) to be sold to raise money for the fines of admissions and the legacies and funeral expenses. The residue to be put into Government Security, and the interest used for the education of the constant frequenters of the Church of England or their children, as thought fit by Mr Hildersley or the vicar of Hitchin, the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of that parish. - to Mark Hildersley after the death of Francis Tristram, messuage in Hitchin and lands at Kings Walden as above, to be sold and the interest on the money raised to be used thus: - the interest of 100 to the vicar of Hitchin or his curate for preaching annually on testator's death a sermon on the absolute necessity of restitution for all injustice - the residue of the interest to be used for the education of constant frequenters of the church, as above - to Mrs Hildersley, his wife's working gown - to Mark Hildersley all the rest of the estate in trust to sell, and use the interest on the profits for the education of constant frequenters of the church, as above, except that Francis Tristram shall have the use of such household goods and linen as shall be convenient during his lifetime - to Mark Hildersley compensation from the Trust money for his costs Executor - Mark Hildersley Witnesses - John Whitehurst, Thomas Burton, Joseph Margetts Pierson. 11 July 1752 Codicil 23 Jan 1753 - friend Daniel Warner to be executor, and 5 guineas for his trouble - to heir at law 80 if he does not hinder or obstruct the execution of the will - to the heirs of very good friend George Ward, attorney at law of Furnivalls Inn, the estate at Hitchin and Kings Walden - to children of the late Mr Thomas Leashe 4 guineas equally distributed - to [blank] Papworth, dealer in sheep of [blank] Green near Stevenage, 1.10s out of the money raised by the sale of copyhold estates.
