- TitleLetter Reads- Encloses the Cople Game Account sent to him by Mr Berry(Colonel Byng's butler and house steward). Thinks these are checked by Mr Berry but Colonel Byng "Looks closely into his own affairs". The Oakley Trust deed has been executed and put in the Church Chest. It is now considered that there is not the slightest chance of the Manchester Railway Line getting their Act. Will know in a few days the total demand for pensions in 1845. One of the oldest on the list has died at more than 90 years of age.
