Letter Reads- Returns the Eton College lease executed by the Duke. Comments that he does not think they can apply double value for building land. In executing the lease consideration should be given as to whether the nearness of the railway would preclude the sale of the ground for the "better sort of residences" and whether inferior houses would be required for porter, police etc. Discusses the price of building land near the Bedford/Bletchley Station at some length. Expects to receive the Wood remittance(2000)in a few days. Comments on Mr Burness' continuing ill health. Asks whether the Duke or Colonel Byng will pay for some apple trees to be planted at Cople
