Letter Mentions the Bedford audit as being satisfactory. Also talks of the Duke's determination to reduce the number of hares - The numbers killed prevented any complaint. Baron Parke at Ampthill hasn't killed anything like the number of hares he might have done(and ought to have done for the sake of tenant farmers). Mr Samuel Bennett did kill hares this year but says it was not the Duke's hares that hurt him but Baron Parkes' on the Millbrook side of his farm. He talks about the December account not being ready and explains why - bills being delayed etc. He mentions the unusual conditions of Dane's sale at Clapham and the Duke's response to it.
