Letter Encloses 10 received from Sir Robert Inglis - fourth instalment of repayment of loan to Milton Bryant Churchwardens. Recommends that all repairs at Cople House should be put together to simplify detail. There are some things which the Duke must do but afterwards it will be suitable for 21 year leases. Mr Whitbread's representative had called regarding the Beds Railways - much discussion on the utility of an Eastern Line from Bedford as well as westword, linking with the London to York Railway and the various options available to achieve this.
