Letter undated Reads- 168 tons[41 chaldrons]of coal have arrived at Lynn, soon to be on the way to Bedford. It is a small load as the pit men's long strike has led to shipowners seeking freights elsewhere, and the resulting shortage of coal has sent up prices. Sunderland coal is of best quality so long as it is not mixed with Newcastle coal when it is sometimes sold at the higher price
