Letter Reads- Encloses a letter from Solicitors of Chesham. Last week at Chenies he thought an action might be brought against Sams for obstructing a water course because the road had become a pond for some days. Bennett has been requested by Lady Charles Russell's attorney to become a bondsman for her as administrix of Lord Torrington's estate. He is willing to lend his name as he has "the greatest faith and confidence that neither Lord Charles nor Mr Green would ask me to do what is improper" but requests Mr Haedy to confirm that there is no objection to his signing
