Letter Reads- Has not bought any part of Lord Ashburnham's estate. Found the outgoings in tithes 4 per annum more than expected so stopped at 2160. Sold at 2180. Church Farm, Clapham sold to Mr. Elliott of Goldington for 14,400. The Green Farm brought in 6170 and the Park Farm and Wood 6400. There were few bidders - Elliott's purchase most extravagant. Mr. Hodgkin just offered Magpie Hall at 2160. Mr. Bennett asks advice.
