Letter Reads- Please ask Duke if we should restrict Ampthill people going into park to get sticks to one day in the week, as is done here. At Ampthill they have long been allowed to go at all times; park is never quiet; they almost think it their right. Sunday I rode through about 12; several bathing; it would be a nuisance for Baron Parke. Have a watchman to prevent depredation to fences & woods, but he needs more authority. I suggest they should have one day in the week to gather up broken & fallen wood; & bathing before 7 a.m. and after 8 p.m. Visit from solicitor for Wynter's mortgages: latter wishes to offer land at Eversholt.
