Letter Reads- Abbey had narrow escape from fire Thursday - speedily got under; Duke pleased with servts. Duke says he has offer of part of property at Stevington which T.A. Green is buying; has written to Anderson. Anderson ill; lung trouble. Consideration whether there should be a successor to Anderson. Oakley now only occasional residence; should it still be farmed?
