Letter Reads- More on Roote. Does not really suit, but so long in Duke's service, he does not actually want to go. One idea of his in coming to Woburn was to get architectural pupils. But now chance has come, I do urge he must give up all other work; and think proposed increase enough. His morose temper. I must stop his ordering things without discussing with me.
