Letter Reads- Representatives of late Miss Taylor want to give up house in Woburn; so we can let Roote give up his Eversholt house & come to Woburn. His Eversholt residence has been inconvenient; he has held himself free of control, and has had the building of 3 workhouses (Leighton, Newport, Newmarket); he ought now to be restricted from taking any other business, & attend solely to Duke's affairs. When he lived in storeyard, his salary was 116. With all his faults, he has some good qualities; too little; should have more.
