  • Title
Letter From Chaloner Ogle Esq. (To the Duke) Worthy near Winchester, the late Lord Kingstons Reads- My garden is surrounded on two sides by part of Your Graces estate which is now a common field, and the tenants have found it most convenient to place their dunghill almost close to my windows. I am informed they have leases only for their lives, and I have reason to apprehend, could I be favoured by your Grace with the purchase of the reversion of from twenty to thirty acres of the sd. land adjoining to mine, that I shall be able to purchase it for their lives also, with the Draft letter from the Duke on the same sheet declining the sale of the land.
