Title
Letter from W.Claxton to Robert Butcher of Bedford House, Bloomsbury Square, London
Reads- Have obtained Mr. Noels opinion on the Duke's case, and send it to you now. The opinion advises a proceeding at law rather than an appeal. Have sent a copy of the opinion to the Solicitor-General and will get his opinion as well. Mr. Noel thinks there is no point in consulting the Chief Baron. To appeal would be to take needless risk. I am just going to Ely.
