Kings Walden Manor. Court Baron of William Hale esq, Lord of the Manor. The homage present Carolus Nicholls Field, gent, late of Hitchin during his lifetime held - property as in Z937/18/25 Carolus Nicholls Field has died and John Field an infant aged 14 years is his only brother and heir, and is admitted tenant and granted seisin by the rod. Afterwards at this court the steward assigns Joseph Margetts Pierson, grocer, of Hitchin as John Field's guardian, who must provide a fair and accurate account of the the rents when John attains 21 years.
