Scope and Content
Thomas Wilson and John Venteman Churchwardens of Cardington and Samuel Gates, Robert Garratt, Thomas Holden and Stephen Cupis, Overseers of the Poor with consent of Justices of the Peace have put Edward Ridge a poor boy of the parish of Cardington apprentice to Edward Ridge of Colmworth, husbandman until the age of 21 years.
Churchwardens and Overseers to pay to Edward Ridge 40 shillings at Christmas 1685, 40 shillings at Christmas 1686 and 40 shillings at Christmas 1687, 40 shillings at Christmas 1688.
