    Overseers of Cardington: Robert Garratt, Thomas Holden, Samuel Gates, Stephen K[?], Churchwardens Thomas Wilson and John Whiteman. with the consent of Sir George Blundell and William Foster, Justices of the Peace, have put and bound apprentice to Thomas Potton one William Lett, son of William Lett late of cardington, deceased, between eight and nine years of age. Have given to Thomas Potton £3.10.0 at the sealing of these indentures and £3.10.0 to be paid four years after the sealing. Term of 13 years.
