    Surrender of mortgage term by Daniel Nash, mealman of Hitchin, surviving executor of the late Sarah Field, widow of Hitchin, to John Field, gent of New Inn, Flitton. Recites mortgage 6 Feb 1790 of various copyhold closes in Hitchin in the Manor of Hitchin Portman and Foreign - Sarah Field loaned 320 to John Field. Recites will of Sarah Field dated 2 February 1792 leaving the residue of personal estate to friends Thomas Evans, gent of Hitchin and Daniel Nash in trust for her grandchildren Thomas Flint Field, Charles Nicholls Field and John Fesh Field, the only children of John Field, for their maintenance and education during their minorities. Recites 29 September 1792 the trustees advanced 230 to John Field on a messuage and closes in Higham Gobion occ by Samuel Ainsworth or his undertenants. Recites Thomas Evans died. Recites the principal sums of 320 and 230 constituted the whole of the residue of Sarah Field's estate. Recites the interest on the two sums was from time to time left by the trustees in the hands of John Field for the maintenance of his children. Recites John Fesh Field was 21 in 1805, and John Field paid his three children their respective shares, for which they signed receipts. Recites Daniel Nash assigns the Higham Gobion property to John Field for it to be merged or extinguished in the freehold.
