[About 30 persons each year received sums from 1s to 5s. The lists are signed by rector (or curate) & churchwardens, also in a few cases by overseer. The stock was secured by bonds; no interest was forthcoming in 1730, because Wm. Ellard of Meppershall "faild in the world."] [Paper sheets, made into a file.]
