    i) Sir Danvers Osborn, Chicksands, bart., patron of Campton ii) Thos Osborn, Clifton, D.C.L. rector of Campton 'for their mutual advantage' i) grants to ii) - certain strips of meadow (1 ac. to 3 rds) in exchange ii) grants to i) - other strips (1 ac. 1 rd. 4p) [This is an exchange of intermixed strips in the common meadows of Campton called Beadlow, Little Burnham and Dogkennel Meads. The strips are called 'poles', each pole cont. from 6 to 30 poles of land measure. The description of these 'poles' is similar to that of the first pole: 'All that one pole is called late the Priory joining on the west to the most western Old Rectory Pole and on the east to the lord's two poles, to said late Priory one pole containing by estimation twelve poles .....'] [see P18/2/7 - 11]
