Title
At the Court Baron of the Manor of Barton of which The Rt Revd Edward Willes Lord Bishop of Bath and Wells is Lord of the Manor, held before John Runnington, gent, steward there:
Carolus Nicholls Field, late cutomary tenant, died since the last court seised of 3 ac called Stonley Wood in Barton, held by copy of the court roll dated 4th February 1760. John Field is his brother and heir and is admitted tenant by the rod. As John Field is 14 years old, custody of the body of John Field as well as the premises is granted to Joseph Margetts Pierson, by his attorney William Thomas, during the minority of John Field.
