Title
Articles of agreement between Frances Field, widow, of New Inn Farm, Flitton cum Silveshoe, and Thomas Flint Field, cheesemonger, of Newgate Street, City of London.
Frances stands seised of the New Inn as described in indenture 5 August 1773 and in a deed of appointment 3 May 1815 between John Field and Frances Field, then his wife, also of several closes and lands described in the will of John Field deceased dated May 1815.
Frances has agreed to give up immediate possession of these properties, and the growing crops, to Thomas Flint Field and to convey to him all her life interest, in return for a net annual sum of 200 from the farm lands. Thomas F Field has agreed to purchase at a fair valuation before next 5 July and pay the 200 annually. The valuation is to be made by Joshua Malden, auctioneer, of Biggleswade, and Henry Whitbread, farmer, of Newberry Farm, Flitton. The costs shall be shared equally between Frances and Thomas.
