Title
Letter from J Malden of Biggleswade to Mr Field about exchanges of land with Lady Lucas at enclosure, and sketch on reverse of Mr Field's exchanges around New Inn, Silsoe:
"the small grass field nearest Silsoe and the wood is exchanged for ... the large grass field against the bridge which is much better land and you gaine one acre of land cloas to your house .... it will make your farm compleat on that side of the road and you will be out of the reach of the [hows?] and rabets which devowers a great deal of the wood cloase."
