2) Income from rents, and expenses in great detail: timber, straw, to mother for feast, work done at Bendish, sisters half years annuity, a leather buckett, well rope, "Kingswalden Quit Rent being a Court held today", iron work to B[rotherhood] House, thatching of Widow Brockett's house in Silver Street, planting 50 elm trees at Pulloxhill. 1759-1769. Early entries examined and signed by trustees Pierson & Thomas .
At the end is written in pencil "15 Mar 1817 Thos. Day - 64 yrs of age - remembers his great uncle Thos. Day occupying New Inn Farm in parish of Silsoe - Higham - Closes called Barton Pightle, and occupied Bray Closes - left all the farm at one time - 50 yrs since he knew his uncle in person - succeeded by Jn. Hill - Bray Closes always went with New Inn Farm .... always lived in the neighbourhood"

Pulloxhill - 6 houses with land or garden, part of house at Hillfoot, Manor House and leys in Fryars Hearn, part of Bray Close.
Silsoe - part of Bray Close.
Higham Gobion - 3 houses with land.
Barton - Stonely Wood barn & yard, Stonely Grove.
Shittlington - house in Chably, houses at Apsely End, house & land at Pegsdon.
