ABSOLUTE SURRENDER 21 December 1901. Joseph Robinson, farmer, formerly of Odell Grange now of Flore Weedon, Northants, one of the customary tenants of the Manor, came before Frederic Sharman of Bedford, solicitor and deputy Steward of the Manor, out of Court and in consideration of 26 paid by James Ruffhead, hotel keeper, of the Castle Hotel, Wickford, Essex, and surrendered into the hands of the Lords of the Manor the property as in X 713/15/4 (a) & (b), according to the custom of the manor
