    Copy of will of William Reynolds, draper of Bedford, 14 November 1739 To daughter Jane Reynolds and her heirs, and if she leave no lawful issue then to daughter Elizabeth Reynolds - - all copyhold in Cranfield and Kempston, - dwelling house in Bedford St Mary now divided into 3 tenements, one occ by Mrs Hawes, one by Samuel Allen, the other untenanted - another messuage in Stonehouse Lane, Bedford St Paul occ by William Smith otherwise Lyon To daughter Elizabeth Reynolds and her heirs, and if she leave no lawful issue then to daughter Jane Reynolds - - 2 houses occ by Mrs Rogers and the Widow Rose in White Horse St, Bedford St Paul - cottage & land in Duck end, Oakley occ by William Little To both the above daughters, divided equally - - all shop goods and other goods and chattels, ready money, rent arrears and other personal estate, after payment of just debts & funeral expenses Daughter Jane appointed executrix Witnessed by George Hensman, John Smithes and Hen. Horton Proved at Bedford 13 June 1759 Endorsements: After making his will, William Reynolds "pulled down the house in St Mary's divided into three tenements, and built a new house which has only been occupied by one person & is now in the occupation of --- Bigg the Purchaser" "John Gandy the Conuzansee is now alive and his description is this he lives at Mr Pulley's no. 3 Back Lane Cannon Street" "W Palmer hath examined Mr Coster's writings & finds no Chirograph of the Fine of the House in St Mary's but hath wrote to London and finds that one was levied of which he means to send for an Office Copy"
