Bedfordshire Band of Hope Union - Annual reports Annual reports received in 1956 from the Executors of the W.N. Henman (Book Accs. 1108-27). Transferred to archives from searchroom library (class 170) in October 1995. The annual reports of the Bedford Band of Hope Union - established in 1871 and re-named the Bedfordshire Band of Hope from c.1875 - includes the names of officers and committee, reports, accounts (income and expenditure), names of officers etc. of various local Temperance societies (giving dates of foundation), subscriptions and donations, and in later reports some advertisements for events etc. All printed at the Mercury Steam Printing Works, Bedford.
