Title
Minute book of Luton Scientific Committee.
‘Lectures for the People’ were organised and held in the Plait Hall. The minute book includes details of ticket sales, newspaper cuttings reporting on the lectures, and notes the number of people attending and the weather on the day.
There were 12 lectures in total, six in 1896 and 6 in 1897:
1896:

Only a note of the title of the 1898 lectures was made, with attendance
