    Miscellaneous small properties of John Gasquine Manor of Steventon Admission In September 1739 Jonathan Gascoigne died holding various copyhold property at yearly rent of £1 7s 11d By his will dated 1 April 1738 he bequeathed his property to wife Mary forever (he having first surrendered all his copyhold property to use of his will). On his death there happened to the Lord for a relief £2 15s 10d. On his death the Lord had for a heriot one gelding of price of £6.0.0. Mary Gascoign died on 8 September 1746. On her death there happened to the Lord for a relief £2 15s 10d and the Lord had one sheep for a heriot of price of 7s 6d. Thomas Lawrence, jnr, of Bromham, is her nephew and heir-at-law, who is now admitted tenant to the property rent - £1 7s 11d fine - £2 13s 10d (2 year's rent)
