The Woodcraft Folk, Luton and Dunstable District. Brian Franks was Publicity Officer
Woodcraft existed as part of the broad Labour and Co-operative movement. In a publicity sheet it was stated that: we have provided a unique service, namely to build up an organisation open to children and young people with the express purpose of educating them for "social change in a democratic society". In short, it was a scouts type movement for the Labour Movement. Dunstable district was established c. 1966.
