Letter from Barry Livesey, Clifton, to the County Archivist concerning the researches of the late Canon Peter Pavey (d. 2 February 1993) into the history of Clifton church and reporting on the subsequent meeting in August 1993 between Jane Pavey and himself with Mr. Basil Miles of Hereford, the grandson of Rev. H.H. Miles. At this meeting the history of the family was discussed, and Miles allowed Barry and Jane to take copies of his portraits and photographs of his grandfather. The information obtained enabled Barry and Jane to complete the work Peter had begun.
