  • Title
    Will of John Buckingham (as in Z 711/2 (iii)), cordwainer. Directs (after a lengthy religious preamble) that his body be orderly and decently buried according to the discretion of his executrix. Gives and bequeathes to Ann Buckingham: (a) his messuage or tenement in Toddington (as in /2(f)) which he now dwells in with all barns, stables, outhouses, lean-tos, yards, gardens, orchards and all commons, profits, easements, privileges, commodities and appurtenances belonging thereunto.Habendum: to his wife Anne for life, contd remainder to his 4 children John, Luke, Francis and William to be equally divided amongst them. Gives and bequeathes the rest of his goods and chattels to his wife Anne whom he makes full and sole executrix.Sealed, signed, published and declared in the presence of Luke Parret, John Parrett and John Olney. Endorsements: inscribed (inter alia) 'These papers relate to John Dewberry and Ann Buckingham Mortgage' and 'No 3'.
